As you know, my husband began his fight to reform state government in the Louisiana House of Representatives. I can tell you first-hand… it wasn’t easy. One of his biggest accomplishments there was the passage of term limits for state legislators. The good news is these term limits will go into effect next year!

In just ten short months qualifying will begin for the most important election cycle in Louisiana history. Every single seat in the Louisiana House and Senate will be up for election, and political pundits are predicting Republican’s will make historic gains.

A group of concerned citizens have formed an organization called “The Louisiana Committee for a Republican Majority” (LCRM). Their long term goal is to build Republican majorities at all levels of government, but for the next year they will focus on one obvious starting point: the Louisiana Legislature.
